My Shopping Trip To Trinity Leeds!

My Purchases!

Earlier this week me and a few friends decided we would arrange to go to town and have a girlie shopping trip! I thought it was a great opportunity to buy some new makeup and pick up some other little bits on the way! I had my eyes set on buying the new "Big Eyes" mascara by Maybelline as I had saw the advert and thought I'd give it a shot. I also wanted to but the "Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder" by Rimmel London as I had seen my friend applying it and I thought I'd also try it out.

We went to our nearest drug store which just so happened to be the fantastic Boots which has everything, I love it a lot! I purchased the waterproof "Big Eyes" mascara as I can never deal with a mascara being non waterproof! My opinions on this product are very mixed. The top lashes brush gets very clogged up with mascara. The brush itself is a very odd shape and I can't quite get the technique used to get the lashes I want. I'm also not keen on the synthetic bristles, I much prefer a plastic brush. But on the other hand it's a very good mascara to get good long bottom lashes using the other brush on the other side of the mascara tube itself. Generally I think it's a good mascara but the hype was unnecessary, it was good for its money. This product was £8.99 from Boots. (Links Below)

Whilst I was on my jaunt around Boots I purchased the Rimmel London "Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder" in "06 Warm Beige", I had never really used a pressed powder before (when my mum told me it was for old ladies!) but for the cheap price I thought I'd give it a whirl! Well, I absolutely love this product! It gives an even coverage over the face, but with a slight colour. You can also purchase this product without the colour and I'm led to believe it's called "Transparent". I apply it with a blusher brush (tut tut) but I find it does the job just as good regardless! It does what it says, it gives a long lasting matte finish to the skin! This product I felt was a bargain at £3.99 from Boots! (Links Below)

I later nipped into Topshop with an intention of buying nothing, but of course my intention was wrong! Two nail polishes caught my eye. I bought a greeny colour called "Green Room" and a dark sky blue called "Awol". I love both of these colours but personally I think they are made for the summery months not winter! When I got home I discovered that I had a similar colour to Awol but that didn't matter, it is a great colour that will go with anything! Green Room is a very strange colour, it looks better in the bottle sadly. But its a good summery colour that I would highly recommend! These were bought in Topshop at £5.00 EACH. On my way to the check out I saw a cute midi ring with locked heart placed in the middle of the ring, the ring was gold. This was around £3.00 (but I'm not certain) and I love it and I haven't taken it off since I bought it, (well apart from showers and when it's time for bed!) (Links Below)

Finally, no shopping trip is complete without stepping foot into Victoria's Secret / Pink. Of course I had some money left over to purchase two pairs of knickers! I personally love their underwear! It's so comfy and feels like you're not wearing anything, (well not literally but, yes!) They're definitely worth investing in! I bought a seamless pair in tie dye from Pink, (top pair in the photo) and a bikini pair (I think) from Victoria's Secret with "NEVER ENDING PARTY NYE 2014" on the bottom. I only bought these because they were so sparkly and I couldn't walking out the shop without buying them! (Bottom pair in the picture) (Links Below)

And that is it for my shopping trip! I had a fab day!
Blogging again soon!
