Ellie Goulding & A Mini OOTD

After I polished off my scone with jam and clotted cream I thought it was time to blog as I haven't blogged in quite a while! (This is a one off, never a regular occurrence!)
Mmm!

Yesterday my mum and I got the 9:08 (exactly) train to Liverpool, from Leeds, to spend the weekend in Liverpool and most importantly to go and see Ellie Goulding in the Liverpool Echo Arena that night! Whilst on the train I read COMPANY Magazine, only because Zoella was cover and was featured in the magazine! I love the magazine so now I've subscribed, there was an offer on at the time but now the offer is up! Oh and it came with a mascara!

When we arrived in Liverpool my grandma picked me and my mum up with her friend in the car and we decided to go to Tarporley (not my choice, as I hate going there!) We went to a shop called Follies, it was so boring, the journey was even worse. Anyway, I thought the day was going to get better, but in fact it didn't. For lunch we went to a tea room called, No 6. I ordered a burger as that was going to be my big lunch so I only had to have a snack before the concert. I was so excited to try it, when it came it was all beautifully presented, with homemade chips, the burger had bacon and cheese on and I couldn't wait to dive in! When I cut the burger, the cheese was so strong and fried (well, if it wasn't fried, it looked it, iew!) the bacon was deep fried also and it was rock hard and disgusting, not how I like my bacon! But enough complaining, I thought I'd try it because sometimes the way things look don't do itself justice. But I was wrong, it was so grainy, greasy and grose! The chips were the only decent part on the plate! I managed to get some of it down and left the rest. For the rest of the day I could constantly taste the burger in my mouth, bleurgh!

Later that day when we were back in Liverpool me and my mum checked in to the Premier Inn Hotel at Liverpool Airport (the extension to my grandma's house as we can't all sleep in it because there isn't enough room!). We always stay there, it is so clean etc. and the beds are so so so comfy!

My Outfit Of The Day

I took all my makeup off when I got back to my grandmas and re applied it with eye shadow this time to spice myself up for EG. I also changed my Zara cropped jersey (day time) to a H&M cropped shirt (night time) with a blue stripe on the end of the sleeves and the bottom of the shirt, (for the concert, not just because I felt like it). I wore these with River Island jeans (I rolled my jeans up a few times, firstly because they were too long and secondly because I like the look), Topshop white frilly socks and my brogues from Office!

My mum drove us to the arena for a musical night! I love Ellie Goulding so much, she is so pretty, she has an amazing voice and I just wanted to see her live and this was a great opportunity as we were planning on going to Liverpool this weekend anyway!
When we got into the arena I bought a merchandise top, on the front is a picture of her in red, purple and pink tones, with "ELLIE GOULDING" on the top of the t-shirt in blue and on the back is all her tour dates in white. The t-shirt itself is a grey/green colour! I love it loads, I'm even wearing it now!

The concert was great, I guess it would've been better if she was dancing with dancers, but never the less she was amazing! Anyway of course there is always one, in front of us we had 4 annoying girls who decided when the whole crowd was sat down they'd stand up, this meant that our row couldn't see, the little girls behind couldn't see and so on. We asked them kindly to sit down but did they? No. Eventually they did but then they went and told the people in yellow (I have no clue what they're called, so I'm calling them 'The People In Yellow') They got absolutely nowhere! Oh well! It was a fab concert so that is all that matters!

On the way back to the car in all the rush I was handed a Boux Avenue voucher and wardrobe freshener! YAY! Sadly you can only spend the voucher in Liverpool till a certain time of the month and I wasn't planning on going to Liverpool for a few weeks but the wardrobe freshener is so cute!! It's a little underwear set!

When we were going back to the hotel we stopped off at a Shell garage shop and bought some snacks as we hadn't eaten since lunch! I was starving by the time I got back to the hotel, so I ate a pack of Mini Cheddars, a Yorkie and a Diet Coke from the hotel bar! Nom nom nom. Midnight feast, literally at midnight!

The next morning (today) meant FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST! I was so happy! I took full advantage, bacon, eggs, sausages, mushrooms, hash browns! Yes please! It was delicious!

That was it really, me and my mum got the train back to Leeds, we got a Starbucks in the station (Vanilla Cream, because, why not? The weather is good so it means iced drinks!) I have nothing planned for today, except writing this blog and thinking about school tomorrow *cries*. TOMORROW IS A HALF DAY! I'm only in till 12 o'clock and I'm so happy!

That's it for now! Blogging again soon!
