Now as you can tell by the title this is going to be my top 10 drugstore and high end products of the month! This is going to be difficult to narrow it down! But lets go.
Firstly, is the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic. This is a really good toner, I used this A LOT when I was away on holiday earlier this month, after I cleansed my face and before I moisturised. It does what is says on the bottle: revitalises, soothes and tones for instant radiance. Love this one! Price: £13.25
Next onto base. I have mentioned this previously in a haul, but this is the Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector, I'm in the shade light. In summer I don't want to be putting on a heavy base, and this is great for a bit of coverage but doesn't feel cakey on the skin and doesn't make me break out! Wahoo! A good price from the drugstore. Price: £9.99
Concealer. I recently had an appalling Benefit makeover but I did have a voucher and I did spend it. I bought the Benefit Boiing Concealer in 01. I really like this concealer, it is full on heavy duty, so use is sparingly other wise it is cakey! I use this when I have angry, under the skin, red spots or just to calm my redness down, (the makeup artist said it would help) and it did, that was about the only positive thing she said but hey ho! And it's pretty pricey! Price: £17.50
Brows. A few months ago I wouldn't fill my brows in, they didn't need it, but recently I have a brow dilemma and they we're odd (I get mine threaded) and I needed something to make them a bit even. Mum to the rescue, she lent me her Bobbi Brown Brow Pencil in Mahogany. Now this is quite pricey, but has lasted me a long time, baring in mind this was my mums pencil and I took it half way through. Now its strange, I'm very fair but I have dark full eyebrows, (weird I know), but I use soft strokes through my brows to give them a bit more definition and look fuller, sorted. Price: £16.00
Eyes. A cute little palette. Clinique All About Shadow Duo in Like Mink. I really like this shimmer mini duo, the champagne colour is great for the lid, and the darker brown is great for defining the crease! Simple as that really. I fortunately didn't pay the full price as I bought it off of Depop but it's worth it! Price: £22.00
Eye Liners. I'm getting in to the swing of things with eyeliner, as a starter I bought the Soap and Glory SuperCat Eyeliner in Carbon. This is a liquid black eyeliner pen, and the nib is like a felt tip, so basically, you're drawing on your eye! I absolutely love this, it is great for beginners and it was so cheap you can't really fault it! But on saying that, I wish it was more black, the colour is dark, but it would be nice if it was a tad darker, but really, I love it! Price: £6.00
Highlighter. During summer you want to look awake, alive, and dewey! Topshop Glow in Polished. Topshop, you've got this so right. This is a cream highlighter, perfect for summer, giving you a lovely glow (as the name suggests). Love the texture, love the consistency, love the product! (Thumbs UP!) Price: £9.00
Breath in! Urban Decay Naked Flushed in Streak. Holy macaroni. This product is everything you need in one, its perfect for travelling. This palette has a big bronzer, smaller blush, and smaller than that highlighter. I fricking love this. The bronzer isn't quite matt, it has a slight shimmer to it, but that's okay, we can work with that. A beautiful flushed bright pink blusher, which is extremely pigmented, watch out! And finally a champagne/pink highlighter which is so so so shimmery and is like a powder version to the Topshop Glow! Also something else I love about this is that it has a HUGE compact mirror, great for on the go! Price: £22.00
Finally Lips. This has been my go-to summer lip duo! This summer I've focused on nude everything, so everything has been quite nude/neutral, I didn't want anything really in the face, and this has been perfect. Mac Satin Finish in Faux and Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer in 500 Luna, two ends of the spectrum really. The lip lacquer I felt was too orange to wear on its own, but when it is paired with the Mac lipstick I love it. It isn't completely unbeknown to the eye, but its a nice statement. Good discovery! Price: Mac - £15.50, Rimmel London - £6.49
And that's it! I know I've talked a lot about summer, and we're heading into Autumn, but there's next year, right?!
What are your favourite drugstore/high end products you've been loving?
It might be a makeup storage next, we'll see!
Bye for now!
