Welcome back! I am writing from sunny Turkey and tomorrow is my birthday!
Today I decided to write about the beauty monthly subscription service, Glossybox. Each month they send you beauty miniatures (how cute?!) on the market keeping you update with the constant changing beauty, lifestyle and fashion trends. Each time you receive a new box you get 5 products, some full size, others not. These boxes vary on the price depending on the plan you choose, so there is no fixed price. A lot of these products come with discount codes so I will leave these at the end of the post.
Jumping straight in!
Firstly when I opened the box I saw a canvas tote bag which had many cute drawings of makeup brushes, flowers, cupcakes, crowns etc. This is a perfect multi-use bag and a handy thing to have.
Next when you open the beautifully packaged parcel are your products. Glossybox also supply a card telling you all about your products.
Firstly is the MeMeMe Enchanted Eyes Dual Ended Eye Wand. This a a double ended blue eyeliner, which claims it is the key trend for spring. There is a dark navy colour and a sky blue colour - both shimmery and very creamy! I'm excited to try this out as a pop of colour on the lash line or all over the lid. I will report back!
This product is full size and retails at £6.95.
Next is the Etre Belle Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturising Gel. This claims to smooth and moisturising the skin and brighten the complexion as well as revive. Skin elasticity with also be improved. That is a lot of claim so I will put this to the test!
This product is full size and retails at £15.93.
The next product is very interesting. It is the Zerreau Towel Off Shampoo Foam. It is a foam which lifts grease and dirt with no water required. It claims to be the next dry shampoo. You apply it to your roots and cleans your hair, you towel dry after then style as normal. I'm intrigued by the product I will be testing this very soon!
This is a sample size product and retails at £7.95.
The fourth product is the SASS Intimate Perfect Skin Concentrate. This is a product for us girls who suffer with ingrown hairs after shaving or just a simple treatment post-shaving or waxing. This says it prevents ingrown hairs, reduce hair regrowth and soothe post-shave/wax. It also has exfoliating ingredients including salicylic acid and fruit enzymes to get rid of ingrown hairs. I am actually writing this blog post early and am getting a full leg and bikini line wax done in a few days so I will be using this after to truly test it!
This is a sample size and retails at £12.
Finally is the ESSENCE Lash Princess Volume Mascara. This mascara is very strange but I'm so excited to try out. It has a cobra shaped wand which I think will really grip all the lashes. It says it will give dramatic volume and lengthen so we shall see!
