The Porefessional, Roller Lash, Posie Tint, Watts Up, High Beam, Hoola Bronzer, Hoola Ultra Plush Gloss, Longwear Powder Shadow in Thanks a Latte, Creaseless Cream Shadow in Bikini-Tini. |
Firstly, don't you think that Benefit products are so photogenic?! Featuring my Lauren Conrad Beauty book - a girl's must have!
Now, I don't know about you but (I'm feelin' 22! - sorry) there is something about mini products that I love. Especially when it comes to Benefit, so I thought today I'd share them all with you!
So firstly I have a mini Porefessional. I got this sample size with an Elle Magazine last year, and it's still going. I really like the consistency of this primer but don't think I'm going to buy the full size as there are many cheaper alternatives out there in the drugstores.
Next I have a mini Watts Up highlighter. I love this! It is a golden/bronze highlighter which is so different to the traditional pearly golden one. This is great on the tops of your cheek bones with a bronze makeup look. I've had this for a while now and I still have the majority of the product left, it lasts so long. It probably could be a cream shadow base too!
I have another highlighter. This is a mini High Beam. This is more of a pinky highlighter. I find this best applied with a sponge or stippled on because if I blend it in with my fingers it tends to remove my foundation underneath which really bugs me! This is more of a liquid highlighter than the Watts Up which is in a cream/stick formula.
Also I have the mini Posie Tint. I got this in a set with the High Beam around Christmas time on the Asos website and when I saw that they had them in a little set it I added straight to my basket! This is a cheek stain and a lip tint so it's really versatile - like a lot of Benefit products. I do prefer this on the lips though because as soon as I apply it to my cheeks (dab it on) when I blend it in the dab marks are still there or I end up with a massive pink stripe on my cheek. Does anyone else have this problem?! But on the lips its such a lovely pink colour, your lips but better.
For the eyes I have a mini cream shadow in Bikini-Tini. This is such a beautiful golden/pink colour, great for a sweep of colour over the lids or as a base for eyeshadows on top. I have also used this product as a highlighter and think it works really well too.
Then I have a eyeshadow in Thanks a Latte in a pan. This is a true golden brown and looks great in the crease with Bikini-Tini on the lid. It is a shimmery shade and I wouldn't usually put a shimmer shadow in the crease but this works really well. It's also super pigmented and creamy.
Lastly for eyes I have a mini Roller Lash. I love this mascara. It really holds the curl all day and I don't need to use eyelash curlers anymore with this mascara because it really does hold the curl. The only issue I have with this is that I don't like it on my lower lashes as I find it transfers and flakes off throughout the day and then I end up with panda eyes (not a good look!) But many other mascaras do this to me, so it's not the only one.
For the lips I have a mini Hoola lipgloss which I feel is really plumping! Its a great bronze nude shade, its looks especially good over a matt nude lip. Something like Mac Velvet Teddy? Beautiful combo!
Finally I have a mini Hoola Bronzer in a pan - which came with a mini brush (so cute!). The colour of this product is not too muddy looking or too warm toned so it is perfect for contouring or bronzing. I use this more for contouring because it is completely matt and it creates a good false effect of a shadow which you want when you contour.
That is it for now. Next week will either be a face of the day - a makeup look that I've been wearing constantly as it is the Easter half term in the UK and I have two weeks off, so I'm wearing makeup alot. Or my favourite Spring outfit?! If it's not one it'll be the other the following week.
I hope you're all eating lots of chocolate wherever you are in the world and having an eggscellent Easter;)
Bye for now!
