Hello again. This post is going to be a first impressions/talk through on the Zoeva Rose Golden Complete Eye Set Vol. 2. I haven’t used them yet because I thought I’d wait so they didn’t look grubby/dirty when I photographed them!
So firstly they come in a pink like pencil case with rose gold hardware. Inside is a cream lining with a card from product control telling you who checked over your package. How cute?! Then on the lining it says ‘COLOUR. LOVE. MAKEUP.’ The set contains 12 eye brushes, all beautifully packaged up with the Zoeva symbol on the rose gold handle holding the handle and brush bit. It says the number and brush name, ‘Zoeva’ and ‘rose golden’ in rose gold writing which is really helpful. All handles are pale pink and matte, a really sleek and professional looking design. Some brushes are synthetic others real hair but all so soft.
Now taking you through each brush, in order of number.
142 Concealer Buffer - This is a synthetic brush. It is extremely dense and domed, perfect for what it says, buffing concealer in! Or to blend your crease shadow out. It's fairly similar to the Real Techniques Domed Shadow Brush.
221 Luxe Soft Crease - This is a real haired brush. It is a long domed crease brush, nothing else to say really!
227 Luxe Soft Definer - This is also real haired, similar again to the 221 however it is slightly shorter and denser but still domed.
228 Luxe Crease - This brush is real haired, it is a long domed brush, perfect for putting shadow in the crease and blending it out. Also this would be great for a cut crease look and the brush is quite tapered.
230 Luxe Pencil - This brush is real haired. It is a very small tapered, dense pencil brush. You could use this to either apply colour to the crease for a sharp look or to pack on colour to the outer corner of your eye to intensify your look.
231 Luxe Petit Crease - This is a real haired brush. It is like the 230 but on a bigger scale with all the same characteristics.
232 Luxe Classic Shader - Another real haired brush. This is very flat and great for packing on shadow to the lid.
235 Contour Shader - This is also another synthetic brush, it is domed and angled which would fit so nicely in the crease to create a smokey eye.
238 Luxe Precise Shader - This is a real haired brush very short, similar to the pencil brush, it could be used to apply specific eyeshadow to a certain area of the eye, or used in small areas.
310 Spot Liner - This is a synthetic haired brush. It is extremely small and narrow. This would be perfect for a very precise liner or to fill in your brows if you wanted to get hair like brows if they were very sparse.
322 Brow Line - This is a very short, dense, angled brush. With this brush it could be used for eyeliner or as a brush to put your brows on! It is a synthetic haired brush.
325 Luxe Brow Light - This is a real haired brush. It is supposed to be used to apply highlighter to the brow as it is fairly flat and dense, but you should also apply shadow with this or to contour the nose.
That is it. There isn't much else to say really! Other than I cannot wait to try these out and in the next few weeks give a full review?!
See you again next week, bye for now.
E x
