My Day Time & Night Time Daily Skin Care Routine

It's been nearly two weeks since I've blogged (sorry) so I thought I'd come back with a 'My Day Time & Night Time Daily Skin Care Routine'. You will find a very obvious pattern in this blog but it will become clearer towards the end. 

So here goes...

Whenever I wake up in the morning the first thing I do is cleanse my face. I use either the 'Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Wipes' or the 'Simple Clear Skin Oil Balancing Cleansing Wipes'. On a good skin day I will use the normal cleansing wipes when my face isn't oily, but if I'm having a bad day and my face is on the oily side, I'll use the 'Oil Balancing' cleansing wipes, and they do exactly what they say, they control shine (I love you Simple)! So I just wipe my face and discard the wipe. I purchased both of these products from Boots. (Pictures & Links Below)

Simple Clear Skin Oil Balancing Cleansing Wipes

Next I tone my face. To do this I only have one toner. I use the 'Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic'. I apply this to the whole of my face by pouring some on to a cotton wool pad and sweep it over my face with the cotton pad and also over my eye lids. This toner refreshes, soothes and brightens your skin! I purchased this from the Liz Earle shop itself. (Pictures & Links Below)

After I've toned my face it's time to moisturise. I have two products here. When my face is particularly dry or needs a rich moisturiser I use the 'L'Occitane Ultra Rich Face Cream', it's great and I love it! It is 25% is Shea Butter and leaves the skin super soft! I apply this with my fingers across the whole of my face, but because it's very thick, don't apply too much! On the other hand, if my skin is pretty good, or I don't want a thick moisturiser, I use the 'Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser'. It is just a light cream which isn't thick on your face, so I sometimes use this as an alternative to the L'Occitane one. I bought the L'Occitane moisturiser from the shop itself and the Simple light moisturiser from Boots. (Pictures & Links Below)

My last product for my morning routine is my 'L'Occitane Ultra Matte Fluid'. This also acts as a moisturiser but I apply this to the whole of my face (avoiding the eyes, it stings!) because it mattifies my face and takes the shine away. This works really well with the 'Simple Clear Skin Oil Balancing Cleansing Wipes'. After I've used this product I apply my normal face and eye makeup. I bought this from the L'Occitane shop. Night Time Daily Skin Care Routine

When it's time to remove my eye makeup after a day of school or at the weekend, I use 'Simple Kind To Eyes Nourishing Eye Make-Up Remover Cream'. I squeeze a sufficient amount on to a cotton pad, but not too much because it removes eye makeup really easily. If you get it in your eye, it doesn't hurt at all, so don't panic! This is just my favorite all round eye makeup remover I've ever tried! I bought this from Boots. (Pictures & Links Below)

After I've removed my eye makeup, I leave the rest on and I always go and have a shower. So to get the rest of my face makeup of, and generally just to clean my face I use 'Simple Kind To Skin Moisturising Facial Wash'. This one turns in to a lather which isn't my favourite as I get bubbles up my nose and when I breathe out I breathe bubbles, but it makes your face feel so fresh and clean, which I love. Next I'd like to try 'Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Facial Gel Wash' and see what that is like. I like to vary my products to see what other brands offer instead of just staying safe! After my shower I go back to the 'Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser' as I don't need a thick cream on for bed and to hydrate my skin again!
