Hello again!
As it has just gone Christmas and your advent calendar has finished, I still want to keep spirits high and talk about mine! Although I don't have the advent calendar itself as that is now in the bin, but I still have the products from it.
This year my mum surprised me with the Ciaté Mini Mani Month advent calendar, which consisted of 23 mini nail polished and 1 full size varnish. All nail polishes apply so well, they are all deeply pigmented, with two coats your good to go, unless you are wearing a very pale pink. Ciaté brought out a few different calendars so some polishes will be varied.
I thought this post I'd show you all of the nail polishes and talk about some of my favourite ones!
First are all the normal nail polishes, these have no glitter in them, just one colour. I got a range of dark reds to very pale pinks and mauve colours. My top two would have to be Play Date and Pillow Fight. Play Date is a bright coral/pink/orange, this colour I find is great all year round especially in the summery months. Pillow Fight is a grey/mauve colour which finishes off most outfits. It is easy to pair with lots of things and looks good with a silver glitter accent nail.
The next two are polishes with glitter flexes. Ivory Queen and Members Only I find are extremely similar shades. Ivory Queen is more pinky and has more of a golden flex, but Members Only is more beige and has silver/red/pink flexes.
The glitter polishes - some of my favourite type of polishes when applying, but horrible to get off! Party Shoes and Confetti are similar where as they are both fine glitter colours - your typical type of glitter but just two different colours. Snow Globe is more of a holographic glitter/flakes. Fit For A Queen is more of a chrome/silver polish/top coat, it could be used by itself or as an accent nail, the shade itself is glittery but doesn't have glitter pieces in it. Finally Locket, this is a mixture of Fit For A Queen and Confetti, it can be used on its own or as an accent nail, it is a polish but with glitter in. A beautiful colour to finish off a black dress.
Nail art. If you're in to the caviar, loose glitter and sequins, Ciaté have got you covered. Miss Mistletoe is loose sequins that you place on to your nail when its slightly tacky. The sequins them selves are a mixture of red/pink/gold. Next is more of a fine glitter, Jingle Belle is a pink with golden glitter that looks like pure fairy dust! Lastly, two caviar pots. Frost Yourself are blue and white pearls and Christmas Tree Caviar are your typical red, green and silver.
Ciaté also included Underwear and Speed Coat, a bottom and top coat to ensure your polish is staying and isn't going!
Finally, on Christmas Eve, door 24 was a full size polish of Serendipity, a gorgeous pink glitter, it is amazing!
Currently on my nails I have Play Date and on my ring finger I have Serendipity as my accent colour and it looks so so pretty!
That is it. I now have enough nail polishes to last me 10 years!
See you very soon with another post!
