SKIN, SPOTS, SCARRING | FREEDERM

Freederm Sensitive Facial Wash
Freederm Gel

Strip back the foundation, the concealer, the primer and everything else you put on your face, we all have skin. Some darker, some fairer, some spottier and some redder. Your face is something everyone see's and you always want it looking its best, but sometimes that doesn't happen.

Spots its something I've struggled with and over the past few weeks it has flared up. From school issues to nature taking its course, this has encouraged my spots to make an appearance on my face, and not go. So I went to look for my remedies. I striped everything back to basics and went for two products and used nothing else on my face - for skincare. Also I reduced the amount of makeup I wore to school to let my face breathe and do it's own thing. Although you have the urge to cover it up, sometimes it's best to leave it.

In my previous posts I mentioned something about how The Body Shop products were helping my skin, and they were doing wonders, but it came to a point where I needed something medicated.

You see Freederm always advertised online, but I was never sure if it would work, but at this point I had raging spots and red scarring. I picked up the daily facial cleanser. It is a pink gel and you massage it in to your skin and you can either wipe it of or wash it off with warm water. I do this twice a day - morning and night.

The product contains nicotinamide which is an anti-inflammatory which reduces flamed up spots and redness. It claims to fight breakouts and reduce the amount of spots, and that is a lot to claim. I have to say though, it does everything it says.

The next day my skin was already looking so much better. My redness had calmed down by far. The existing spots I had were still their but over the next few days my breakouts were decreasing rapidly. Also the amount of spots appearing was reduced.

I followed this up with the gel, this is a concentrated gel that you apply on the problematic area and it soothes it - as it is a cooling gel. This also contains nicotinamide and also does everything that the facial cleanser does but it is specifically for the problematic areas. You use this gel after you've used the face wash, then apply your daily moisturiser and makeup.

I really highly recommend these two products, they seriously helped with my skin and I hope this helps at least one of you. However, I do appreciate that this might not be any use to some people, but next week it might be for you!

Remember, we're all beautiful in our own way and we do not need makeup to cover anything up!

I did promise this post to be a lipstick one, it definitely will be next weekend!

See you next weekend, with a new post at 17:00 GMT.
